Privacy Policy

Front Panel Express, LLC (hereinafter 'we') is comitted to protecting your privacy. We do not collect personal information on our website. We do collect personal information (hereinafter 'information') from users of our design software Front Panel Designer (hereinafter 'user' and 'software').

 
1. Information Collection
We collect information from users during the order dialog of the software. Here, a user provides us with information such as name and address and order information such as credit card number.


2. Internal Information Use
Information is used to manage customer orders, e.g. for billing purposes or to contact the user for clarification of technical details related to an order.
 

3. Information Sharing
We will not sell or rent information to any of our business partners or to any third party. We will not let any of our business partners or any third party share information, except we are forced to do so by state or federal law. We will transfer information only to business partners involved in the administration of customer orders (for security, see 5.).

4. Online Security
All information sent via the internet or any other approved transfer net, especially from the software, is encrypted with industry SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. We ask that users revisit our website to not only keep in line with our actual privacy policy, but above all, to upgrade their software version for safety reasons, if offered.

 
5. Offline Security
Users may protect information stored on their computers against unwanted access at their sole discretion. Within our business, any access to deciphered information and to any deciphering key is restricted to certain employees and to certain business partners. Every involved employee is sworn to secrecy and kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every involved business partner, whose terms and conditions of sale do not explicitly state an adequate way of dealing with information, is also sworn to secrecy.

 
6. Supplementation of Information
It may be necessary for us to supplement information that we receive as described above with information from third party sources. For example, to determine if a customer qualifies for purchase on account, we may use part of the information to request a credit report.

 
7. Correction / Updating Personal Information
We provide a way to correct, update or remove a user's information. This can usually be done with a new order transfer by using our software.

 
8. 'Opt-Out' Mechanism
Our order form has an 'opt-out' mechanism, so that users who order a product from us can keep their email address off the newsletter list. We may use the newsletter list from time to time to send information or requests to our customers. Users who no longer wish to receive such information can use also this 'opt-out' mechanism or can let us know by email.

 
9. Notification of Changes
We use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our website. If at any point we want to use information in a manner of different from what was stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users in advance for approval.

 
10. Links
Our software, as well as our website, may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by our software. We may not be affiliated with and cannot be held responsible for information that is provided by sites that link to our website. The information and points of view on these sites are not ours and do not reflect our opinions or positions.
