I just ordered my first panel and will be addicted to your service in the future. However I didn't order any of your cases since it seems both designs do not allow easy removal of the top plane of the case without first removing the front or back. Is this correct? If so, you may want to considering having a case option that one can easily 'remove the top' so as to work on a system without removing the front or back first. When demoing prototype products (what I would use your service for), the extra disassembly makes the device seem clumsy, which is what I am (presumably) paid to avoid.

Our Housing Profile 2 extrusion allows easy access to top, bottom or sides, depending how you design the case.
You can find more info about it in our handbook on page 10.
I hope this is what you were for looking for.

Yes it is but it depends on how you provide the label to us.
Easiest would be a pdf attachment and requesting this method of shipping at checkout in Front Panel Designer. You can attached files to your order. Our shipping carriers are UPS and FedEx.
What we can't do is accessing your system (supplier portal etc) and pull shipping label from there.

The panel itself is very easy since it has only a few mounting holes and cutouts for the controls. It is a bit more work to reproduce the image with all the machine settings and import it as vector graphic (plt format) into Front Panel Designer.
You can prepare the vector file with any graphic software.

For the Housing Profile 2, from the example , I can see the screw hole 'K' being specified on the Cover Panel pair 'B'.
But I did not see the corresponding holes for 'K' on the Housing Profile 2 in the example.
Are these hole required to be specified on the Housing probile 2 ? If so, how.

You don't need to specify the holes on Housing Profile 2. This is where you want to use our square nuts (GGSO9903). They slide right into Housing Profile 2. You can move them to the desired position and line them up with the cover panel.

Thanks for the reply.
I am planning for an enclosure with housing profile 2 on both side with a tall cover panel B, i.e. the 'FB' length is large with an narrow 'A' length.
I plan to install the housing bracket between cover panel B and the side panel.
I do not find such equation from the Housing Bracket section in the manual.
Have I missed anything from the manual ? Thank you.

You are right, there is no equation for placing a bracket on the slotted side of Housing Profile 2.
The distances for placing the bracket holes depend on your material thickness and if you keep the 2mm recommended remaining material to cover the slot. I can double check your design if you like, just email me your fpd files.

How do I specify a hole with a larger circular cavity on top with the same circular centre ?
Do I simply insert a hole and then insert another circular cavity (with larger diameter) on the same centre ?

The electrical parts that I will put on top of the cover panel will weight 20 Kg.
The cover panel is 500mm x 360mm.
Can you recommend the thickness of the panel ? At this moment I use 4mm. Will that be enough ?

Yes, you can stack a cavity on top of a drilled hole or you can use "manual sinking parameter" and adjust sink depth and cone angle (180 degrees)

20kg is quite some weight. Remember the top panel is only supported on the sides and some housing brackets on front and back. Does your design allow a block within the enclosure for additional support?
