The wood he chose is Purpleheart, Padauk, and Walnut. He made this selection, because of the natural beauty, color and density of the material. Very nicely done! <br/> <br/> The lettering was milled into the wood, in filled with wax, and then lacquered over. Each panel consists of a sheet of aluminum and a layer of wood glued together.
