We have not heard of this issue recently. Can you try to (re-)download the latest version of Front Panel Designer from our homepage and try to install again?
If the problem persists, can you please provide us with more information and we will try to solve it.
We will need to know:
What Windows version are you using?
What error message do you get? At what step of the installation do you receive an error, if any?
Which version of the Front Panel Designer did you use before trying to upgrade?
