The aluminum used for front panels is AA 5005. Anodized panels have a guaranteed scratch-free surface. No guarantee is given for the surface of the reverse sides of the panels. The thickness tolerance for aluminum panels is +/- 0.1mm. Since the panels are anodized before manufacturing, all cut edges expose raw aluminum.
The aluminum panels manufactured by Front Panel Express conform with RoHS standards. Simply contact one of our customer service representatives to get the conformance statements from our suppliers.

The front is natural anodized. The reverse side is chromated and thereby conductive, making it suitable for EMC applications.
Panel with bevel
This shows how 45° bevels can be applied to the outer edge of front panels or to edges of thru-holes. All cut edges expose raw aluminum.

Standard thicknesses: 2.0 mm / 2.5 mm / 3.0 mm / 4.0 mm.
