Trying to install on an iPad running os10.01 which is the most current OS that will install. The iPad is brand new. When I download the file simply won't open. I've got an unzip program which supports any file including this one.

I have ordered presently and in the past several panels with tapped holes in the 6-32, 8-32, and 10-32 range. I have noticed that I have consistently had to run my own tap through the holes to get the screws to go in without extra force. I specify the hole as the instructions say by selecting the screw size. Am I missing something? I have used both stainless steel and aluminum hardware.

If you would like increase the diameter opening of the thread so it isn't as tight click on the 'manual thread parameters' in the bottom of the properties window and increase the diameter by .1mm or .004"
This should give you enough tolerance so you can insert your screws.

Well, my argument to that solution is
1) Why does the program not select the proper drill size?
2) Why would the tap used not clean out the and the re-tap I used did?

We use routers with threaded end mills so the tolerances are on the low end to prevent screw loosening over time and this doesn't seem to be a problem with the majority of our customers. We do not hand thread these and we use a plug thread go/no-go gauge to double check the threads as well. If you need more clarification let us know.

Hi, some one can tell me how I can create a macro objets of mini-USB and micro-USB connector?
Posted By: Wilmer on Jun 28, 2016 11:51PM Category: Front Panel Designer
We have instructions on 'how to create a macro' in our HELP page from the Front Panel Designer. Just click on Help in the Menu Bar of the Front Panel Designer then click on Help... again.
This will bring up the attached dialogue box. Enter 'macro object' in the search bar and the topics on macros will populate. Under 'creating macros' you will find instructions on how to create a macro.
Please don't hesitate to contact our customer service in case you need further assistance.

4.5.1 ordering program hangs on quit
Posted By: Josh on Jun 28, 2016 02:52AM Category: Ordering
We have not heard of this issue recently. Can you re-download and install the latest version of our Front Panel Designer from our homepage?
If the problem persists, please provide us with more information and we will try to resolve it.
We will need to know:
What operating system are you using? Which version of the operating system?
Do you get an error message?
What exactly happens? It just freezes?
Does it happen in the ordering program or the Front Panel Designer or both?
At what step during the ordering process?
I am confident we can make the Front Panel Designer work again on your system.
