Is there a way to put holes in the corners equidistant from the edges?

Depending on where your origin is all you have to do is to right click on the hole and select move. Then enter in the distance of x and y in the absolute portion of the pop up screen and the hole will be place equal distance on the x and y axis.

Does anyone have a universal on/off symbol they can share? I'm referring to the symbol that looks like a semi-circle with the gap at the top and a short vertical line bisecting that gap. I imagine the symbol would be maintained as a macro, but if anyone has it in any form suitable for use with FPD I'd certainly be grateful.

Do you need it for powder coat or not?

Do you want it engraved? If so, send us the one you want to use and we will convert it into an HPGL for you. If you want it printed on your panel just import a high quality (.jpg, .bmp, or .pdf) and we will print it on your panel.

is there a feature where Standard rack sides cutouts sizing and dimension on the panel can be applied in your software ? ( Look at the uploaded file for more clarification.

Unfortunately we do not offer standard rack cutouts per your attached image. You can however create a macro object using your cutouts and then be able to drag the macro onto your panels for future panel designs.

My current stage: 19" 2U panel,Aluminum Powder-Coated( Jet Black) with a number of holes.
The question is : do you make the holes first before coating the panel or is it the opposite? in other words do I have to make larger holes to account for the coatings?

You can choose to have your holes milled before or after powdercoating. Select 'mill after surface finishing' in the properties window if you want the holes milled after powdercoat (this option is going to be added for drill holes soon) so leave a note in the order and we will manually change them for you. The holes will show outlined in red in your design indicating milling after powdercoat. If you want them milled before powdercoat leave it unchecked. The powdercoat thickness is .1mm
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Can I get panels folded?
I am working on a project where I need some panels (8.5 x 11) folded in half at a 90 degree angle. I attached a picture of what I'm trying to do.

We unfortunately do not offer bending services. We can help with machining and engraving of your panels but you will have to bend them on your end or find someone who can help you.

Hi, how do I place unicode characters in any FPD font? Something like 水石 shows up as ?? I've tried importing an hpgl object of the unicode but it clips out just that part of the hpgl while leaving the rest.

Unicode for Chinese characters might be difficult to do so send us an email with your HPGL file to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try and help you import it correctly.
