  • Material thickness

I need to get few 2D machined aluminum parts for a robotic project. All my parts for this project should be cut out of 3/16" thick aluminum sheets. I have downloaded your CAD software, but it seems it to only supports mm thicknesses. Can I use your CAD for thicknesses in inch? Does it impact my pricing? I am mostly interested in black anodized finish for my parts. Appreciate your help.

  • Stud and Standoff "Place on reverse side"??

I want to place a thread M3 stud on the bottom plate to mount a PCB board on. I am confused about the option of "Place on reverse side". What does that mean if I put the check mark there? What does it mean if I uncheck the "Place on reverse side"?

  • Customer supplied material option greyed out if dxf loaded

I'm using version 5.01 of the software. When creating a front panel if I chose the basic shape as being "Free shape from DXF file" then the option to use customer supplied material is greyed out and unselectable. How should I proceed if I want to provide material?

  • Need for triangle and oval cavity

I can' find a solution how insert a triangle cavity.
There is a triangle option at the Insert Rectangular Hole, only (triangle at the trapezoid area).

But, it needs the same, as the Insert Rectangular Hole, into to Insert Cavity tool.

Additionally, I see that missing an oval tool for holes and cavity.
