Irregular Panel Shape
How do I design a rectangular panel (5"x24") with a (2" radius) semi-circular cutout on the bottom middle edge?
The panel replaces a boat dash panel. The cutout is needed to clear the steering column.

Thank you for contacting us regarding your project.
You can add the 2" semicircular cutout on the bottom edge by first creating a D-hole on the panel. I would use a single D-hole with -90 degrees of rotation, a 4" diameter, and 2.125" of width.
This will create the proper object, but you will still need to place it. Do note that the reference point for a D-hole is the point that would be the center if the D-hole was made into a full circle, if you position the D-hole 0" from the edge of the panel, the cutout will overhang a little bit and you will have a good transition between that shape and the exterior shape of the panel.
Let us know if you have any additional questions.
