cleaning infill smudge
I just received a panel that I'm pretty happy with but a few of the engraved letters have infill smudges. Is there a recommended solvent that can be used to clean this up without damaging the anodized finish?

That shouldn't have happened in the first place. I apologize for the poor paint infill quality. I will have our office contact you to bring the panel back to us and have it cleaned properly.
We use ethanol and paint thinner for cleaning. The anodized finish is resistant against chemicals.
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the offer to return the panel but it's not necessary. The smudging was very minor; I didn't even notice it the first time I looked over the panel. Since you mentioned you used ethanol I tried some vodka on a q-tip and that did the trick.

vodka, very imaginative and something we're always likely to have on hand. :-)
