Importing DXF Holes
I would like to use FPD for it's font support but I cannot figure out how to import my dwg. Yes, I can import the DXF as a free contour but the holes become contours. I'm not bothered that much by the difference in price but I am concerned that milling vs drilling will not produce the best possible part quality. Is there a way to convert .dwg or .dxf to .fpd so that circle entities become holes. Minus text engravings and the 4 oblong 1U mounting holes, my project is just 40+ holes ranging from 3mm to 3/8" so I think it should be drilled.

We don't use drills. Everything gets milled with end mills. The result is the same, considering our tolerances of +/-.1mm
I am not sure if I understand what you mean by circle entities become holes. Feel free to send us your designs (both fpd and dxf) to email@example.com. We can have a look and convert your dwg/dxf into fpd in the most efficient way.
