Essentially, I would like to "reverse engrave" some text. The effect would be like circle in rectangle cavity, except text instead of a circle. Ive tried to go about this a couple of ways...

1 - Create a .png with outline style text contained in a border and convert to .plt/hplg. When imported, the text and border look alright, except I dont see a way to make any of it a cavity.

2 - Around imported .plt, create multiple engravings to cover/surround the area around the text. Not entirely efficient.

In our experience, these depressed fields around elevated text provide a very nice look, but automating that programming in our software is quite complicated.
