I'm using version 5.01 of the software. When creating a front panel if I chose the basic shape as being "Free shape from DXF file" then the option to use customer supplied material is greyed out and unselectable. How should I proceed if I want to provide material?

I can' find a solution how insert a triangle cavity.
There is a triangle option at the Insert Rectangular Hole, only (triangle at the trapezoid area).
But, it needs the same, as the Insert Rectangular Hole, into to Insert Cavity tool.
Additionally, I see that missing an oval tool for holes and cavity.

The only way to do this is to use the insert free contour tool in the toolbar and import the .dxf of the triangle. Once you have it imported onto your panel select 'as cavity' in the properties window and input the depth you want it milled at.

Thank you for contacting Front Panel Express with your question.
Since you have a .dxf file you can import that into our designer. The way to do that is to save off your .dxf file as two files. The first .dxf file will be of just your panel (outside) shape and nothing else. The second .dxf file will be of just the cutouts on your and nothing else.
You will start your panel design by importing the first .dxf by selecting 'free shape from dxf file' when you click create new panel.
Once you have your panel open click on the 'insert free contour' tool in the toolbar and select to import the second .dxf file of the cutouts.
This will import the .dxf of your cutouts onto your panel as a group. You can know center the cutouts onto your panel by right-clicking and selecting align/distribute.
For others with the same question you can view this instructional video on how to do what I described above:

Hi, Could you please tell me the correct macro object for a D series neutrik connector punch out with countersunk M3 machine screws.

The fifth option (24, Drilling: M3x9.5, y:12) in our XLR-Connector drop down menu might work. You will have to mirror the two threaded holes and change them to M3 countersink holes if you need them in the upper right and lower left positions. You might want to check the tech sheet for the Neutrik connector to confirm.
Please don't hesitate to contact our customer service in case you need further assistance.

Do you have a .fpd for this please?
Thank you a lot. Best regards,

You will have to download our free designer software from our website and insert the connector cutout from the macro objects shown in the screenshots. We do not have a .fpd file since it's built into the software.

Trying to install on an iPad running os10.01 which is the most current OS that will install. The iPad is brand new. When I download the file simply won't open. I've got an unzip program which supports any file including this one.
