    Hi all

Does anyone have any experience with a dxf Adobe illustrator import ?

I can't import a Front Panel export's dxf file ! in Adobe Illustrator.

I just would want to make the engraved text with Adobe.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Negative depth cavity?

    Hello to everyone,

I am new to the front panel express 4.11.

I need to design at the back of my panel an area that protrudes out from the surface. CAn this be done by specifying a negative depth for a rectangular cavity? Appreciate if you can advise if this is the right way to indicate or is there a technique for doing this with the software. Thank you.

  • Problem in Linux

I am a brand new user. I am trying to try out your software on Ubuntu 10.10. I tried to open a dxf and it causes Front Panel Designer to close. I tried the Windows executable in Wine as well and it caused an unhandled exception and closed. Any known working linux distro that handles dxf imports without crashing? Beyond that...ever thought about making it a web app? Might be easier to maintain in the long run.
